BCAP consultation on proposed change to scope of the Distance Selling rules

Issued: Thursday 4 August 2011
Closed: Tuesday 16 September 2011

The law distinguishes between business-to-consumer and business-to-business distance selling. The BCAP Code, at present, does not. To align the BCAP Code with the legal framework for distance selling, BCAP proposes to restrict the scope of the Distance Selling section of the Code to business-to-consumer advertising.

A new version of the BCAP consultation on proposed change to scope of the Distance Selling rules will be published soon.
